This wasn`t a good weekend for me for a get together since I was busy and also I was thrilled to spend time with John and his 65 Superstang on the dyno and the highway testing!
Well I wrote in the comments below. I suggested they should block a section of 8th st. from point A to Point B off and have access manned by events organisers. This section would only allow actual cruisers in. Not the idiots . This would then let people actually see the classic cars and trucks. Our veiw of the nice Mustnag in the inside lane would be less likely not blocked.
That way the police and SGI will not be haressing the cruisers.
SGI on the other hand I feel had no place being there that night. They 364 other days to do inspections. Do not ruin a large tourist attracting event. They should be going after the new cars that are not safe. Not the ones where a person has bought and wants to have fun with before he buckles down to do his restoration.
Yeah thats not a bad idea Glen. Im not exactly sure what I think should be done. Its a big enough event that it should be somewhat special, and not ruined for no apparent reason.
