Totally off topic here but, in a way, I'm kinda jealous of your job. That's cuz I've
taken lots of train rides (many of them overnighters) across Russia, Scandinavia
& Europe, and I've found that riding trains can be a cool form of transportation
in that you get to *see* a lot of the landscape, and be relatively comfortable
doing it!

Thank you!

I can hear (but not see) this train from my front porch and happened to be out doing some errands when it was headed south tonight.

I'm actually a conductor on the "City of New Orleans". The same train that was made famous by Arlo Guthrie and then again by Willie Nelson. I am truly fortunate to be able to get paid for something that I'd almost do for free. More times than I can remember I've been told how I must have among the most enviable job there is.

Still a indescribable feeling when children are in awe when their ticket gets punched and always seem to reference "Polar Express".

I like when your train passes through when I am at the railroad crossing. It is very speedy, not like the other convoy of freight.

I still miss the caboose.

When will there be a direct service from HOU to ORL without detouring through Chicago? I want to take my family on a train to Disneyworld.

Kinda like that black one in the upper right of your collection. Actually hoping to get mine to look that good sooner than later, albeit blue though. Like the clean look of no moldings...etc.

The night of frozen bricks, and a taxi cab.. FORD 1 : Taxi 0

All new front end $5,500 and no I didnt have to pay the deductible.

Dont have any current pics atm, but she looks and runs better then ever.

It bent in the direction on the drivers side about a foot back on both rails. They tell me it was a easy fix nothing was effected beyond that point.

Here's some pics of my ghetto paint job to take away from the fact the bed is off an 89 model. Lumina is my daily driver...

Spenny, to be honest i think the paint job looks pretty good. Its different from every truck ive seen, and its not really flashy. I like it.
