Center caps
I was wondering how to remove the chrome center caps on the wheels of my 99 F250 SD? Mine has the alloy wheels with a plain center cap. This isn't the cap that covers the lugs. I can't figure out if I need to take the wheels off to remove the cap or just try to pry it off. Thanks in advance for any info.

You have to remove the wheel on a lot of them.

If the cap isn't the type that grabs onto the lug nuts then it most likely pushes thru the center of the wheel from the inner hub surface and, yes, would require the wheel to be removed.

x3. Remove the wheel and pop them out from behind.
