stearing column question

I am trying to get the horn working on my 1977 f100 and have found the shaft is not grounded.Does anyone know where the shaft grounds to the column?

on a f100/150 there is a ground wire thats connects the shaft to the gear box

basicly it crosses the rag joint

ok,thanks.i will look and see if i can find it.I want to get that ugly add on horn button out of it.

I went out this morning and looked.there was no ground.does it use a ground strip like what grounds the engine to the body?

you could use a short peice of wire too. its just gotta be long enough to cross the rag joint and make sure it doesnt get tangled on anything that could be dangerous

yea,i just finished doing that.the horn works.its a shame to have to rig up something ugly like that to make a horn work.but at least it works.thanks everyone.
