Shock replacement
I have read several posts saying this is DIY for my '98 EB, 5.4 with LSS. So far, the only place I have found shocks has been the dealer at $155/ea and $45/ea for the front and backs and they insist the only the dealer can properly install and bleed the LSS system to relevel it. Any input??

I've been looking since '97 for another source for the front shocks on my '97 Expediton with four corner self leveling suspension. So far only dealers seem to have the fronts. I replace the fronts every 30K. I am very happy with the HD Bilsteins I installed in '98 in the rear, and which show no sign of wear even though they've endured very rough off road use with heavy loads. If you find front air shocks any place else, let us all know please.
