You may want to look into seats from an Explorer. I got the
Eddie Bauer leather, 6-way power seats out of a 94 Explorer.
They cost me $250.00 at a wrecking yard. Little bit of work
to put in, but are really comfortable. I've got pic's in my
gallery.

Just a thought...

With a little effort, you can bolt your seat bases onto just about any seat ever put into any vehicle. The ergonomics of the seat itself are identical among all seats, but there are minor differences in the way they attach to the floor, which is why you use the truck's original bases.

These are the REAL Ford Sport-Bucket Seats and are, bar-none, the finest seat ever put into any truck by any manufacturer.

It's a damned shame that Ford de-contented the Sport Bucket seats (in 1997 or 1998) and turned them basically into cloth bench seats with the center cut out for the console.

I am 6'4" tall, and I DEARLY miss that front thigh support the old Sport-Buckets had.

I can't think of an interior design flaw from Ford worse than it's current seat designs. The Sport Buckets (even in the $40,000 Explorers) border on false-advertising as Sport Buckets.

I have a new 2003 Ranger with "Sport Buckets" and while they are a _little_ bit better than the one's I had in my 1998, they are still NOT Sport Buckets by any stretch of the imagination.

If I could find a set of Pre-'97 REAL sport buckets, in black, for under $500 in perfect condition I would buy them in a heartbeat and install them in my new truck.
