round vs sqare headlight?

round vs sqare headlight?

What is the differnce between round a sqare i have two 78 one f250 supercab and a 150 supercab and they both have round headlight and all the trucks i have seen all have sqare headlight.

It's not square, it's rectangular.

No difference.

'78's with the custom trim level will still have the round headlights.

This is incorrect.

1978 Rectangle Headlamps were an option.

1978 Customs had Round headlamps standard

1978 Ranger trim and higher had Rectangular headlamps standard.

1979 Rectangle headlamps were standard throughout the trim levels.

A Geometry lesson, for people who actually care .

A Rectangle by definition is a shape with four sides at 90 degree angles.

A Rectangle with four equal sides at 90 degree angles is called Square.

Since two sides of the headlamps are longer than the other two, it cannot be called square.

i always called em box lights because of that little geometry issiue.....lol...box and round are my turms..lol

all i know is the round ones are brighter with a better light pattern then the rectangle ones.

A lot of people feel that way I still like the style of round better than the box lights
