That motorcade actually went right by us. Very sobering thing to see. I've been in one (part of another dept. honor guard) before for a police officer who died in the line of duty. Always good to pay your respects.

Patriotism above all else. I bet you didn't see any of those stupid protesters in that town. It is a good feeling to see so much support. I think it should be done in more places.

Very sad. I was amazed at how many people in a few counties were paying their respects. They just buried a local war hero near me yesterday who was killed in Afghanastan Aug 1st. Soldiers either dead or alive need to be shown a great respect, even by those who oppose war, because without those soldiers doing their jobs, those protesters wouldnt be able to protest.
