part or part number needed.

hey guys, i need either the part number for the tab that goes on the back of the driver door lock cylinder with the plastic piece the lock rod clips into, or a driver side door lock cylinder.
i looked on ebay and amazon, buy they only sell lock sets, and i have no need for two locks and an ignition key as my truck only has one door key.
truck is a 04 F350 with 06 F250 doors on it.

Go to your local parts store and look in their parts help area. They should carry the plastic clips.

not that one, the one that goes on the back of the lock cylinder that the rod goes into. looks sorta like a white plastic horseshoe over a metal plate with a bending tab on each side to hold the rod in place

you can see it on the end of the bottom cylinder.

The they are not held on with a screw, you will probably have to buy the locks and maybe re-key them or carry two keys or visit the local pick n pull junkyard.

that is what i was afraid of.

this one actually has a "jesus christ clip" holding it on. that was why i figured it may be a separate part.
