Just purchased a 2001 Ford F-350 dually crew cab..color is described as Bright Amber..it is gorgeous (or at least we think so)..is it still avialable in 2002/2003 trucks? How about rangers/explorers, etc. We haven't seen it much and it really does look good clean and with chrome!
Sorry, but 2001 was the last year for this color. Personally, I like it, too, but it had limited appeal. A lot of people consider it to be "orange," and most people don't want an orange vehicle. To me, it's more of a copper or bronze color. Funny- it looked good on the Ranger and S/Ds, but looked AWFUL on the EB Explorer.
our "new" s/d truck has bright amber, a thin gold stripe and black on bottom..it is gorgeous..can't imagine calling it orange..it is truly a bronze or copper colour..but i am a va tech hokie fan..maybe i should trim it in maroon...lol! thanks for your reply..bet rangers looked great in this color..it has to be better than the burgandy my ranger is! It has faded on the hood and is plumb ugly! lp
Gotta agree. The Bright Amber is a great colour. I tried to get it when I ordered my '03 F350 Supercab dually, but no luck. Went with the next best thing, Toreador Red...... It to looks great shining in the sun, almost seems to change from red to copper, depending on the angle
