Turtle Wax did buy Zymol. But to my knowledge it's still the same great product it's always been. Just put a coat on my 03 S'Crew (over Maguires Gold Class). Definite improvement.
More color depth and no slight haze that kept coming back from the Maguires. I have a black truck so yes I know it's more suceptable to showing minor imperfections.
Follow the directions and do the water spray after waxing. Really brings out the shine !!
Based on the responses here I went ahead and ordered some Zaino Z3 for my cargo van. I have been using Mothers on it for a few months but it fades away in just a few weeks tops then the paint oxidizes and starts to fade.
If Zaino really does work on this van then all the stories are true for sure. It's a repaint that is about 6 years old with no clear coat on it. If it works I will let you all know.

I've heard that new paint is much different than paint of just 5 or 6 years ago. Just got a new 03 f150 5.4l FX4 Lariat. Definitely want to put on best wax for durability first, then shine. Seen alot of responses regarding Zaino.
Does this sheet up as mentioned in upper post?
I know that Meguires Gold Class mainly beads up......thought that was good, although sheeting action makes sense. Does anyone have info on pros and cons of both?
Where do I order Zaino from?
Thanks for info.
Who needs a Linclon?....Fx4 rides like a champ!!!!!!!!!!!
You have alot of choices as you can tell. Being a detailer myself I can tell you also that Carnauba is NOT a dinosaur. Waxes can and will make your paint have the "Wet" look. If you want shiny go with something like Zaino. The polymers and acrylics do last longer that is proven. You also have your synthetics mixed in with carnauba that gives you one hell of a look as well. I have used pretty much everything on here, yes even the Turtle Wax. I have even put my current sealant up against Klasse and they are pretty much the same. Poorboy's EX is simply hands down the easiest to use out of all that have been listed. Try using Zaino, Klasse, Liquid Glass, Meguiar's all in the blazing sun. Sure you will look like Arnold when done ... LOL ... but is that what you want? Durability, EX holds its own, but the other synthetics *might* last a tad longer.
All products listed are ALL very good products. Zaino is one of the best out there on the market, but for me I need something that is easy on easy off even if I get side tracked for an hour or longer.
Anyone out there hear of or used 5starshine? It is a 2 step paint sealant protection system. Any feedback or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.....
I wouldnt waste my money bro .. its Teflon based. If properly cared for you can get the same results, I would bet all my money for better results, from either the Klasse twins or Zaino. I remember this stuff as a discussion on a detailing site that I am at as well. I think this stuff falls into the catagory of " Miracle Product "
