What wax/polish do you like?
I think all of these major brands make good products, and I wouldn't hesitate to use any of them, but I have been using something I havn't heard mentioned. Called Prestone Bullit Wax, I don't know if it's the same prestone as the antifreeze, but I don't think so. It's hard to find but I like it. It goes on easy with the applicator, and it buffs off fairly easily. Leaves a nice shine and durable too. The problem I've had with the wax shop is that it isn't a long lasting durable finish, but it goes on easy and shines good. Zymol is very good, and Mothers and Meguiers both make very good products. I like rain dance too. And turtle wax. Stick with a name brand and you'll be happy. If you need to remove oxidation aswell Formula 2000 (I think is the name) is supposed to be good for that.

Meguire's Polish and then Zymol wax on top of that...it is a very good combination. But it takes a while! I have a '97 Explorer with the dark green paint and it shines for weeks. Granted I do use Meguire's spray on Quick Detailer in between wax jobs...good stuff, too.

I use the Dri-Wash product as my wax. It gives the truck the deepest, richest shine I have ever seen. I also use it on my windows. Sheets water.
The product was designed to take the place of washing w/ water.....not me! I wash, dry, then use it. Awesome shine!

I like Meguire's Mirror Glaze Cleaner/Polishes. They make a product call Speed Glaze, it cleans, polishes and protects in one application.
No matter what cleaner/polish I use, I still apply at least one coat
of a non-cleaner type carnuba wax.
Meguire's, Eagle One or Burford are all good products.
