TS chip sudden issue
Worked great for a couple weeks, today truck dies and throw check engine light when I change switch (6 position), or just dies for no reason. Transmission won't downshift. Stranded me, I unhooked batteries and waited, hooked back up and it fired up so I put it in "stock" position. I guess I'll try to return it for a new one (I know I know, but DP is not in the budget just yet). I can't think of anything else it could be, since it happens when I switch it.

Have you tried pulling it & reseating it in the PCM? If it comes loose, it *could* fry your PCM. With your keys out of the ignition, pull it, reseat it and the switch wire and try again...
