Pictures of Fender Flares
I finally got my fender flares painted and had some new bed braces installed Friday. Not only do I think they look great and add much needed curves to the truck, they also worked great covering my bad rear fender rust. Check it out for yourself.

Flares look the tit, love them rims too!
I was thinking of doing the same thing, adding flares to my red one to cover the rust around the edges. Hesitant though as the flares will tend to hold more moisture/salt in that area and probably just make it worse faster. On the other hand, probably only get two maybe three more years plowing out of it anyway.
Are those model specific type flares or the bulk roll cut to fit/self stick kinda deal?
Yours always been one of my favorites around here, all blacked out like that. "hard to beat" look for a truck!

Thanks man! Nope, that bumper was a a plain black one I bought off eBay for like $100 bucks shipped from PershingAutoBody parts, then I had it powder coated for another $75 bucks. However, if it was chrome, the powder coating will go over it. For example, on my tailgate, I use to have the chrome panneling, but had that powder coated. It hasnt chipped at all.
