truck is up, whell is off, and crap is everywhere, lol. pulled off the hub and a set of bearings DESTROYED itself, the other set is intact but the damage has been done. the spindle has nice size gouges in it, hub does as well, on the inside. obviously i need new bearings BUT what is going to happen when i throw them in with the new seal?? i cant drive it to the shop as is, i am surprised it just didnt lock up or something. i could throw in the new stuff bolt it up and drive it over to have a mech check it out, but what , if anything can be done at this point? whata mess.

Pics would help, but if the spindle is really messed up, you're probably best off getting a new axle from a salvage yard. You could buy a new housing, but the labor to switch everything over might offset the price of an assembly.
If the scoring is just minor, and the bearing can still seat straight, you might be able to just knock down the high spots with emory cloth and use it as-is. I have also used bearing mount compound in the past on damaged spindles. This won't let the inner race rotate like it should, but that just means the bearing will wear out a little faster. The most important part of the spindle is where it contacts the back of the inner race. If this area is messed up, it will never work correctly.

i have been out trying to sand them down a bit. will try to get pics up again later on. i am wiped for the day. 1 icp sensor change and then this crap is enough for me. the new bearings will fit on the spindle. the races in the hub are scored a bit too, and i am going to get back at them tommorow.
when i pulled the wheel, it seemed it was about ready to fall off... looks like the spindle nut got knocked loose by the bearing parts, and maybe had started to come off - it bent the tooth on the nut that goes in the groove - so i need a new one of them to. wow...
