purchasing rims need help

It shouldn't hurt anything if the center bore is larger than the hub.

its the same with my truck the rim is 4.25 but hub is not

cant seem to get my pis up

I went out and measured again.

The center bore of my wheels is 4.25, but the flange itself is 3" dead even.

My mistake...I'd still err on the side of caution and look for a center bore of at least 3.5, depending on what type of center caps are used.

At least by looking at 4.25 bores I would be assured that everything would clear.

Sorry for causing the confusion.

well thanks for the input guys i guess if i like a set ill try them on.
what is a good load rating to look for
ill most likely buy used
