I was wondering if anybody has ever purchased/used a set of Dieselcare 100hp injectors? They have a local shop for me (memphis) and I have had them do some work for me on my truck with great success. My truck has the Napa intake, 3" DP leading to a single 8" stack. The manager of the shop is trying to talk me into the 70 hp injector instead of the 100 hp? Same money so I thought it was sort of dumb not to buy the 100 hp. I get the feeling from him these might be too much for the motor or tranny (Which is stock by the way). I am not one of those who runs his truck hard or does any sort of heavy towing. Have all the gauges and a DPtuner with 80e,80t,100 performance and 140. Just curious if anyone has run their injectors before I purchase them. Sorry to say that I do like to see the black stuff puff out occasionally. Would 100hp inijectors be rated as stage 1 or 2? . Thanks in advance guys. Maxx
From what I understand the 100's would be a big strain on your tranny. People on here always mod up the tranny before running bigger injectors. Not sure in your case but just my 2 cents. What do you have for a tranny?
Well from my understanding (Please tell me if I am wrong guys) there stage 1's from what I understand. Alot of 100's are stage ones from what I read and how they are advertised. And you should always be ready to mess with your tranny when it comes to hopping up the injectors, or anything big. So umm yeah be ready to dump the money for a tranny.
The truck has a stock tranny, but we dont run the truck hard at all. If anything we baby the thing. Can the stock tranny handle these injectors if the truck is run "normally" (no heavy hauling or hotrodding?) Thanks Maxx
