Need Help Quick!!!!!

Had some grinding noise in the front end of my early 99 f350 thought it was the hub selector. Replaced it but when spinning the wheel heard another sound coming from the wheel bearings. Pulled them and my axle shaft that the hub assembly sits on is grooved and the hub assembly I replaced 3 months ago is bad also. I can deal with the hub assembly but do you have to buy the entire front axle or can you get just the shaft piece. The whole axle is $600 +. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as my daughter has a barrel race this weekend and I need my truck back up and running by Saturday.

Thanks for the help. Called ford back and gave them the part number and it pulled it right up. Saved me about $500. But they wanted to know where I got the number from!

Aren't websites like this great. I have saved a ton of money from people on here and other websites.
