was i ripped off?

hey guys i recently bought a 15 passenger van w a 351 to haul my amish construction crew,my question is the odometer read 34000 something miles which i knew it rolled over and i assumed it had 134000,but after looking at the title i noticed it said 153000 miles as of last october. so would there be a way to tell the difference if it had 153000 miles or 134k,i only paid 500 for it but any tips would help

Unless they swapped or rolled back the odometer it is 234K. But if it runs and drives good then who cars about the milage, $500 is pretty cheap for any thing that is reliable transportation.

Maybe the previous owner was simply going by memory when they listed the vehicle for sale and guessed wrong. In any event 20k is nothing on the life of the vehicle especially since you got it for the scrap value.
