Help!!!!!!!!!!

"i changed intake gaskets to replace heater tube on my 1998 ford expediton 5.4 v8 now smoking from exhaust".can i have something crossed?? truck did'nt smoke before i did this, just had a little leak from heater tube on back of intake the 90* one and it never overheated im stumped fellows help!!!!

have you changed the oil? my truck did that when i changed my intake due to the fact that water got into the oil. it's an 84 302 but it sounds like the same problem!!!! hope this helps cause i haven't did anything to my 04 expy
