Why the heck is this? I just read this on MSN and was very surprised....I have never owned an Explorer so I don't know why americans have started to hate them so badly......I understand that the 5.0 engine equipped ones have GT40 heads and a special cam as well that makes for a great swap into an older vehicle or even a late 80s-early 90s Tbird or Cougar or something....all this clunker program is doing for us auto and truck enthusiasts is doing is making it harder to find a good rebuildable engine for a decent price, and driving up the price of the ones that have been sitting on the shelf for a while...........MSN also said that the F150 was a close second in the clumker program..........
