Accelerator Clip

I have a 85 with a 5.0 FI and need some help identifing a plastic clip. It clips over the end of the Accelerator cable at the Throttle body. The clip is connected to a small cable that runs into a box on the wheel well. Does anyone know the name of this clip or what it's purpose is. I have snapped it and i am having a hard time finding another.

It's probably for your cruise control. I don't have an EFI motor, so I can't tell you for sure without seeing it.

You'll have to go to either the dealership or a junk yard to replace it.

The box is on the far side of the master cylinder, if so, yes that is for the cruise control servo.
