So it looks like ill be needing more then just a turbo when I fix my truck.
I have a 2000 4door 4x4 longbed automatic. I currently have installed ford apcm idle controller, underdash glowshift electronic gauges (give me a break, I like how they look) and a bullydog powerpup programmer (75hp tune in it now) Parts I have not installed yet, stainless steel hpx, dual alt upper hose, sonnax shift improver, motorcraft trans filter, deep trans pan, external trans filter, carrier bearing, coolant bypass filter, and all kinds of other things.

I was wondering where you guys have gotten your parts from. I have looked at many places and searched in the forum to find dealers and suggested places to buy parts, but its easier to sort through the info and current opinions once it all gets in one place..hopefully here. I just wanted reinforcement on where to get decent prices and/or complete package deals on stuff.

I need,
drivers side hpop line to head (leaking a little at fitting)
ic couplers (all of them, i found a few kits but what have you guys used)
balljoints
wheelbearings
203 thermostat
thermostat housing

HPOP line- Ford, IH, or a wrecking yard
IC couplers- Riffraff Diesel
Balljoints- Napa or powerstrokeshop.com
Wheel bearings (prepare to bend over)- same as ball joints
203 stat- personally I wouldn't bother with it, but DieselSite is the only place to get it
Stat housing- DieselSite

 

The RiffRaff site is under construction, is there anyway i can get a price on a set of new ic couplers and clamps.

I have a bullydog powerpup programmer, is that upgradeable, can I load new tunes into it. I only got it cause it was cheap, I like my brothers dp tuner cause i can swap tunes while driving, so ill probly get one of those when i get the money.

Im looking to buy an IC coupler kit, Im going to be ordering soon, but I hate to call Clay just for a price on couplers if im not going to order from him. I just hate to waste his time.

Also, where is the best place to buy a dp tuner, Ive seen a few dealers of it, but where has everyone else gotten theirs from.

Clay would be happy to talk with you. It's how he makes his living. He also is an authorized dealer for DP tuner, or you could just click on the link in the upper right hand corner of this forum. DP sponsors it and you can deal directly with Jody and Diane. Until Clay got involved with DP,most of us dealt directly with them.
