2150,,, I think...
I have a motorcraft 2V carb with no ID tag. It is different than a 2100 so I started doing some searching online and I found an exploded part drawing online much like what you get with a carburetor kit. From what I could tell it matched what I have. So, I went to our local "real" parts store, (read this as NOT AutoZone), and we proceeded to look up kits for 2150's. They came up with two different kits bit the gasket that goes between the main body and air horn did not match in either kit.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what this carb was originally in. I took it off a 302 that some hack had tried to put in a '53 F-100 I bough to fix up. I have my doubts that it was even the right carb fo that engine because it was just sitting on the studs with no nuts holding it down. It actually looked pretty good for a junk carb so I decided that I would clean it up and do a rebuild. It had a reman sticker on it so I imagine that the rebuilder left the tag off.
If it will help I can post a picture of the gasket or any other part that might help. There are a few markings on the main body casting but for the most part they are pretty cryptic and I doubt very much they will help, although I can take shots of them if it will help. I'm guessing this thing is from the '70s to the early '80s era before the VV carbs.
I would really like to find a kit for this thing because it has no wear in the throttle shaft bores and everything else is in decent shape. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The carb in it has the same base and air horn but with a slightly different gasket than mine. I found a kit yesterday at the parts store with the same gasket sa in the PDF abobve so I think I'll get that kit and try it. the difference in the gasket is what threw me off. I will try and get that kit tomorrow and see how it goes. If you look at the picture on page 9 you will see that the gasket there has a little square part that just hangs out under the air horn ans appears to do nothing. It is probably there for use in some variation of this model.
I get back on here later and let you know how it turns out.

The same carburetor will be used in a vast array of cars...so the gaskets may be different. Don't identify by gaskets. Ignore them. Almost every mid-to-late '70s Ford 2V engine has the 2150.
If you don't know where the carburetor came from and IS a reman, good luck with figuring out what it really is!
Gasket: since it's a crapshoot, I'd use the gasket that leaves the float exposed.

And yes, it is a 2150 although I am finding there were many variations of that model.
