Don't know about Jeep shifters fitting.
These transmissions came in just about every Ford made starting in the early '60s with pu trucks, then cars in '64 or so. Thunderbirds and Lincolns won't have them, but just about everything else. Also some GM vehicles have them, as Ford sold them to GM so they could have an all synchro 3 gear.
Tailshaft and shifter locations vary, so I dasn't know where to send you.
Just as a note fwiw, the only cars that came with floor shifters for the 3 gear were Mustangs and Cougars, IIRC. But, Hurst and the others made conversions, some of which could work for more than one model.
