Paint on 97 E superduty

Paint on 97 E superduty
Anyone know what type of paint is on a '97 E superduty cutaway? The paint code is YO for Oxford White.
Is it enamel, lacquer, or alkyd enamel?
I'd like to paint the roof of the cab with Sherwin Williams Seaguard® 6000 Marine Epoxy.
Where I park the truck, rain water sits on the cab between the cab and the service body in the flutes in the roof of the cab. I spent a few days sanding and removing rust. A lot of rust.

As long as you prep the existing paint properly, it shouldnt matter what the existing paint is. Just ask the guys where you are buying the Sherwin Williams paint and they should be able to tell you how to prep it properly. You might have to prime the existing first, then paint over the primer. Each manufacturer is different. Never used SHerwin Williams, know a few who have and like it.
