Some 1987 and all 1988 and later do not have the Duraspark II connections because by then, most of these engines were all EFI / TFI-IV anyway.
1986 and before there were still engines that were carbed with Duraspark II, and some that were Carbed with TFI-IV and some that were EFI. This is why the 90% of the trucks main harnesses were wired for both systems. You just need the correct harness extention to plug into the main harness.
Here is a photo of the harness you will need. I sell these on ebay for around $20. On my last trip to the junk yard I did not find any good ones, they are getting harder to find. I tried to send you a PM yesterday but it did not seem to work. Jim

Here is a photo of the resistor wire and the starter bypass wire. You want 2 wires in and one wire out.
If you have 3 wires in... you also have a resistor wire bypass wire, this is what is shown in the photo.

Just came in from outside. Unwrapped the tape on the wire bundle coming from the cowl and found a nice big fat red wire. Looks like I'm set as soon as my new wires arrive.
