Window Regulator question
Hi,
I'm replacing my window regulators with some from the junk yard and the shop manual says you should lube it up before putting it back in.
My question is what kind of lube should be used and what particular parts do I lube?

I would recomend a white lithium type grease ...its a heavier grease then say regular wheel bearing grease...unless you get hipo light friction wheel bearing grease which is far superior and stand sup to heat well and make things move as slick as water across a smooth glass table...its not cheap though...but its top notch...
Lube up any contact parts or gearing parts...basicly whatever moves...dont lube the nylon roller between it and the pin it clips onto...just wipe whatever crud is on and in there and reassemble...also do use lube on the window lower sash though...where the roller slides into along bottom of the door glass...
