How far do you have to drive to work in the morning in your excursion?! I have to drive 20 miles one way.... It's Gunna suck with the bigger tires on the truck and the lift haha

I've got the day off today which is nice, but I only got 30hrs this week. I drive 22miles each way to work, and lately I've been getting 12.5-12.9mpg with my 35" toyo open countries and 4.56 gears. It cost about $100/wk to get to work in gas alone.

Zero. Mine is resting comfortably in the garage waiting on the next cammping trip.

My commute in Atlanta is 65 miles RT but my CRD Liberty does a great job of getting me from point A to point B back to point A every day.

Mine has been all over, but the longest was 120 miles RT.

This morning was about 60 miles RT.

The X LOVES the freeway and these long drives to work!

Morning!

I drive 18 miles each way.

The drive in takes about 25 minutes.

The drive home (depending on when I leave) can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.

I drive about 30 miles round trip , but usually take the t-bird since it gets 20-23 mpg. and save the ex for pulling the trailer. miles on x are still low for its age , dont wanna rack em up unnecessarily

Let's see. I had a little tree job that was 31 miles one way. I went with my dump trailer loaded with the skid steer. Cut the tree and loaded it in the trailer. Strapped it down and drove the 31 miles back to my house. Dropped off the dump trailer and loaded the stump grinder on the 24' trailer and drove back to the job. Ground the one little stump then loaded both machines back on trailer and drove the 31 miles back home. (In the rain.)

Then had another small job that was only 13 miles from my house. All said and done, I put over 150 miles on the Excursion today while towing as little as 3,000 lbs (empty dump trailer) to right at 12,000 lbs (24' trailer with skid steer and stump grinder.)

150 miles / 8 mpg = 18.75 gallons x $2.209 per gallon = $41.42

Don't mind really as long as I'm making some money.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be about the same.
