Charlie has both of you beat on age, so he's allowed to by lazy.

How ya been Charlie? I'm pretty sure 10 mm is the correct size for all the years.

Thanks Chris!!!! Now you see why I don't ever post on this thing! Same way over on the fishing web site...can't spell, they make fun of what you say, so....
The way I got into this...a buddy of mine that has the Big "C" and been fighting it for a long time....said that his abs light came on and I went by his house and tried to clean his sensor. He wasn't even outside whenever I worked on his truck. He called me later and said that it only stayed off a little while. I told him that if he would get the sensor, I would put it on for him. I told him if he would try Auto-Zone he would get it cheaper than Ford, and he did. But...he did not call me to put it on. He is one of these independent guys that doesn't want to ask anyone to help him. He told me his 10mm did not work...and that is what I had taken it off with to clean it! Can't remember the size it was but it was not a mm. I am surprised that you still remember me Chris. Chris is one of these guys that tries to help everybody. He even came by my house one time when my ABS light was messing up and he lives way south of me. Thanks alot Chris. If nothing else just come by and see us sometime. Hope the business is still holding up.

Of course I remember. I'm not old enough to be senile yet (at least most of the time )

Most of the fun comments you read are meant to be humorous, so don't pay much attention to them. As for the spelling, I use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. It has a spell check feature that underlines the words I misspell in red and offers suggestions on proper spelling. Also holding down Ctrl and hitting the + sign makes the words on the screen bigger without making you scroll left and right any more to read the words.

If I can ever catch up at work I'll try to swing up your direction again. As for your friend, I'd suggest just asking to see if you can take the part so you can compare it with yours to make sure it's the right one. Then just go ahead and stick it in for him. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll find a way to get up there and change it out while you hold him down.

Where's the right top differential on a 2000 PSD? I have a 2000 PSD and it has a rear and front differential. The VSS/ABS sensor on top of the rear differential is held down by a hex head bolt. I used a 3/8" box-end wrench to remove and reinstall it.

I thought it was 10mm too -- I used a socket to remove it...

Chris:: I did leave my old sensor in the back of his truck..so he could compare. The one from Autozone looked the same --BUT it had the ## filed off -He said he thought it must have been the same as Ford :: ANY way he put it in and it is working. ALL OK!! BUT that is when he said the 10mm did not work for him. I had told him how & what I did :: He wanted to know..He said what size he used and I just dropped it. I was just curious what size..the reason I even posted. As I said he has been fighting cancer and has had all kinds of radiation, etc. He is a diabetic, has macular degeneration, parkinsons, and more stuff. He does want to get out there to try to do something even when it makes him sick. I had talked to his wife and told her that I was coming down there to work on his truck and he was still in bed. I just pulled it out, cleaned it, put it back, called and told him what I had done. I told him I would put the new one in if it didn't work. He went on his own and put the new one in.
WA.Ranger...sorry I took it wrong. BUT on some of the fishing forums I look at and post very little, they get into what my boys and I call "pissin' contests." I guess fisherman just always want to be bigger and better. A lot of them fish tournaments and don't really want to help you. Thanks to all you guys. Keep up the good work...I learn a lot just reading the posts.

I guess the joke is on me....I wouldn't have ever guessed such an elderly gentleman would be on here. As ALL of my elderly family has not one dang idea what a cordless phone w/ (with) push buttons is. Never mind the inter-web.

Welcome Sir....Welcome.

But, I say post a pic (picture), post a pic...

God Bless.
