Lifted - Leveled - Or Not!
Bought my Ex with 25K miles on it, had it for about 7 months now. I have noticed that when near other Ex's, which I know are stock height, it seems mine is a bit taller. How do I tell what has been done to my suspension - I have no base reference since this is my first Ex.

I know the previous owner had done some mods to it, but I bought the Ex from a truck dealer and they did not provide any insight into modifications. Any suggestions? Should I post a pic of the suspension so the experts can tell me if anything has been done?

Please advise.

Post some pics and we'll try to figure it out. I'm sure you know this, the 4x4's are taller than the 4x2's - just wanted to make sure you were comparing apples to apples.

Yeah, I know the 4x4's are taller, it just seems a little taller that other 4x4's. I will get some pics up tonight and see what they show.

quickest check is to see how much space you have between the front bumpstops and frame. most stock, untouched Ex's will be at about 1/4 inch.

I bought the truck at Gibson Truck World in Sanford. Cool people, great experience, awesome service.

Anyway, I live in a little town called Chuluota. Google Map Chuluota to pinpoint it directly.

I see you're in Palm Bay? South of Melbourne?

Actually closer to an index finger between the bump stop and the top of the axle where the leaf spring attachs.

I bought mine from Gibson also!!!! Great people! I've had mine for two months today and I already lifted it 6"!!! Haha

Sounds like you may have a leveling kit (can add up to two inches) or diff tires, maybe bigger wheels. All give the X a taller profile...Pictures would help..
