hey diesal-brad, know where there might be an 8-foot bed for a 73-79 around here?? geuss it's worth asking since your local, thats the missing peice as far as the body goes on my 79 i'm buiulding.

I see gilbert/effort now. A little to the north east of beltzville lake. I'm in northern lanc county.(2hours to the south) If I see a bed around I'll let you know.

My yard! LOL Not a clue. We looked at over 100 beds and cabs and found nothing but junk. We had to go to carlisle to get anything worth working w.

i dont care if it needs sides, they are fairly easy.. my bed floor is gone, aswell as both sides are shott so thats more than i want to fix....

The bed i am replacing is SHOT! The sides,inner sides, floor, front and crossmembers are gone. Bu the t-gate is good

ya sounds like mine, well rotted.. these parts are getting hard to find, i'm lucky i was able to find a good cab around here.

Ok, i finaly got this setup withthe owner.. I am going to make a deal on the truck tomarrow morning.. Im sure we will make a deal on it....

However i just dont know how i will get it home becouse rite now i dont have a trailer of my own and my buddy who always hauls my stuff for me sold his truck so i hav e to figure that out..
