Flat rate book

How do I get my hands on one of these? People want to know on the spot what a job will cost and I keep under cutting myself. I haven't done enough mechanic work to remember how long every job takes.

Thanks. I din't know what it was called and couldn't find anything. Did you find the times to be close or way long?

I found that I could beat the "flat rate" about 80% of the time.

I'd suggest over bidding by 5%-10%, most of the time when the total is then less than the quote the customer feels even better about the transaction.
