Fords at the Summit
Hi all went to the Fords at theSummit meet up with Freightrain good time.Just to let you Y-Block fans know a 60 Mercury took it to the finals but lost in the DOT class.He was running high 14's. Looked for Bigwin56 There was a nice black and copper 51-52 F1OO And alot more of cool stuff.

I was there Saturday thru the rain drops. I pitted with Harry (1960 merc) we race at national trail together laborday weekend.
I had two time trials and then the rain and I couldnt stick around for the track to dry and went home.

Had a good weekend, even with the little showers we did get Sat morning/afternoon. I went 3 rounds each day, with some very, very tight racing. Even ran a couple '64 Galaxies in eliminations(bet that was a sight going down the track).

I lost to the one on Sat(.003 redlight), but he did win Sat's race. The one on Sunday was a racing buddy of mine and I was to have the bye 1st round, but he was last in line and we had an even car count, so I had to run him. I had .041 light, he was .044, I ran 11.592 on 11.59 and he went 11.482 on 11.48 and I took a .0038 finish line. Ya, it was CLOSE!!!! The racing buddy I ran 3rd round Sun also won Sundays race, so they had to get thru ME to win LOL!!!
