no doubt...im not critisizing i was just bugging...but i want to do one with no welding involved...one piece is stronger than 2 joined pieces...on big *** chunk of 3" by 1" steel however long and bolt it down in a many places as possible lol

35,000 lb has always worked for me
but now with big tires i have a tendancy to bury my truck to the headlight before digging out that strap so im gonna want a bigger one...and 60,000 lb strap is a bit much but i want one just to say i have one...plus i recover a lot of tractor trailers from the snow banks at the shop where i work so i need a big strap for that
dang, 10 pages soince i wuz on here last. havent taken the truck to the mountain in a while but my popa did put a big **** scratch down the side of the tailgate while he was hauling furnature. i was sick to my stomach, oh well. we are going to our hunting club on monday. 40mile drive followed by a 2mile mountain climb. then there is all the trails on top. hehehe
Flame paint job, havn't seen one of those since like the 90's lol.
I only talked to him for a breif 10 mins he got mad when i said i was going to do a 351w swap. He said a 302 can make more horsepower and torq than any 351w. My reply was simple "There is no replacement for displacement. After that he walked away. what struck my interest in the truck was the flowmaster exhaust and the lift kit not the flame paint job although its nice to see something unusual everyonce in a while.
