Rislone engine treatment
I use a quart of Rislone at every oil change which is every 3000 miles maximum. I do this for all three vehicles (listed in gallery) and have been doing it since 1977 when I got my new '77 F100. I wouldn't hesitate to use it in the new Fords that recommend 5W-20 oil. The folks at Rislone say the base oil they use is about a 5w20/25 and that you can use up to 25% of the crankcase in Rislone. My last oil change on the F150 I put 4.5 qts oil and 1.5 qts Rislone. IMHO it is great stuff. I just put some in a little old fashioned oil can and am waiting for the next squeaky door hinge in my house to use it. I guess I am a Rislone nut.

Rislone engine treatment
From all that I've heard about oil treatments, they seem to do more harm than good. The general consensus is that if you change your oil on time, you shouldn't need any engine flushes (until you start getting "up there" (75K miles) for a while. Like the other guy said, modoern oils and modern engines don't generate as much "crud" as they used to.
