Carburator questions

So i've searched through the fourteen pages and didnt find any threads about this (also in the engins speciffic fourm). So here is my question. What would be a good choise for a stock probably orignal (not rebuilt yet) 460 with a stealth intake and a cam in the near future(next month)


stock 460
stock automatic c6
dont know what gears
daily driver
orange doors on a green truck

750 holley double pumper is 1 of the best choices as you can jet down or fairly high depending on motor. I have 1 on a 302 mustang and 1 on a 460 with 12:1 and DOVE heads with a 714 roller cam and these carbs work great

you DO NOT want a double pumper unless you enjoy visiting gas stations and emptying your wallet.

You'll want a vacuum secondary carb, most likely a Holley in the 600 CFM range for mild performance and fuel economy.

As for the Edelbrock AFB clone you COULD get away with using their 750 CFM carb, it is a vacuum style 4 barrel that is easily adjustable.
