Blue vs White Air Filter?

Blue vs White Air Filter?
The blue media/filter is synthetic fiber and moisture resistant.
The white/filter is just a paper cellulose filter even though made by Donnalson.
When buying a replacement filter... use only the blue media for improved performance.

Pro and Cons for each?
I replaced my air filter with a white filter, less than 50 hwy miles later while pulling 16k lbs up a bridge in TX. My minder maxed out, light came on the dash. What gives?

I used a Donaldson filter with white media for 30,000 miles without any issue. I changed the filter back to a Ford filter with the blue media. I didn't see any difference between the two in the mileage I ran it.
You shouldn't be getting a change filter condition because of this filter. You bring up a good point that maybe it sat where it picked up a lot of moisture. This is highly unlikely though. It would have to be submerged to clog like this. Did you double check the installation, maybe something not back on right, or something seating wrong?
