Do any of You know what size the frame fuel filter takes.Socket probaly cheaper than 86+tax at dealer just to install it.Have the motor craft fuel kit. Thanks in advance
I forgot where I bought mine, but here's a link to a site to order the socket you need to get the fuel filter cap off and the oil filter cap too. What's best is it can be had for under $7.00 http://www.ntxtools.com/network-tool...LIS-14500.html
The specific name is LISEL. (I think that's the proper spellling). While you are at it, if you haven't ordered it, you should get a new and improved FUEL FILTER DRAIN PLUG too. It has a kurled thumb ****/allen wrench head on it so it makes draining your fuel filter easier.
I also recommend installing a FUMOTO DRAIN VALVE too. You can't go wrong with it, makes changing oiul a breeze as you never have to fumble around with a wrench and socket and loose or drop the drain plug.

I've got that tool, and it's the cat's meow. Technically, the big fuel filter is 35mm and the oil filter is 36mm (I might have them reversed). Thanks Ford for not making them exactly the same. But that tool works for both, and is just a little loose on the 35mm. Nicest thing about that tool is that it is shorter than any normal socket and fits a 3/8 drive ratchet. Helps in the tight area around the fuel pump. Found mine on eBay.
