Small Upgrades

Hey, I've got a '95 F-150 Eddie Bauer with a 351W EFI. I'm curious if I can do some small upgrades to the stock motor (187,000 km / 117000 mi). The main upgrade I want to do is install larger injectors. Would this harm my motor at all and what other suggestions does anyone have?

Bump your base timing up to 12deg, Long tube headers with good cat-back system, scrap out the air in take to the air box and replace with I6/460 type stock intake tube.

No.. you're thinking like you would if the motor had a carburator. You can't install larger injectors without causing problems, and besides that there's no need for them the existing ones will support 300hp. Just let the motor breath better by upgrading the exhaust and maybe install some 1.7 ratio roller rockers, and the computer will see the increased airflow and deliver more fuel as required.. no changing the jets necessary.

Thanks!

Well, I've gotta say thanks for the advise guys! I will do just that. I only want a little more power and torque without having to change too much electrical wise. Always open to suggestions!
