99 SD electrical problems
Hey guys. I have a 99 F350 super duty 4X4 that developed several electrical problems at once. The cruise quit, the high beams quit, wipers quit and the door buzzer dings with the door open all the time even with the key out. It wouldn't start so I wiggled the fuses in the fuse box and now it starts but has those other problems. I talked to a mechanic bud of mine and he says I need to replace the fuse box. Something about a gem module behind and attatched to the fuse box?? Anyone else had similar problems or heard of this? Thanks for any suggestions.

The GEM is mounted to the back of the fuse box. Check to make sure that it and the connections are tight and secure. IF the GEM does need to be replaced you will have to go to a stealership in order for it to be replaced.
