48 226 Radiators
Are any of you guys running new radiators i think npd as them in your 48-50 trucks with a 226 i cant find any nice used ones so i might buy a new one the only thing is im afraid they look to modern since im going for an origanal restoration pictures would be great

Check US Radiator http://www.usradiator.com/tford.htm I bought one from them a few years ago for my 51 and it looked just like orignal, and fit perfect.

I have the rad out of my 52 that came with a 6 cyl. I think its original. I am not going to use it. It seem in good shape. I could take some pics and send them to you. Maybe some of the other members could see it and make sure its the one.

did this truck have the flathead or the ohv motor or did they use the same radiator pics would be nicee

It would of had a ohv 6.When i got the truck there was a 302 in it with this rad hooked up to it. I took some pics but cant find my cable to hook my camra up to my computer. My sun has it someplace and he will be home from work later tonight.i will post some pics then. The only prolem with the rad is the lower brace is rust out.Would be a easy fix.
