Bed bolt torque

Bed bolt torque

Anyone know what it should be?

well when i have had ford beds off i just use the air gun on it till it stops . but i did see where some one did say it 59 lb-ft

what would be your need for removing them ?

Thanks. Need to remove them for spray-in bedliner.

Never heard such a thing. The bolts should be covered as well.

Spraying the bed bolts (and tie downs) is optional. Most people think that taking them out, applying the bedliner, and then reinstalling them makes the bed nicer looking. In addition, if you ever have to have the bed removed, say for a repair, you won't have to dig the bolts out of the bedliner. But, again, it's your truck and your choice.

It's my understanding that torque should be about 50 ft-lbs.
