I have a 97 ranger extended cab stepside that I have owned since new. I am considering moving back closer to my family and if I do I am going to have a huge garage sale to get rid of 95% of my crap. I am hoping that I can rent a small trailer to tow what I have left over but I am not sure what the 3.0 can pull safely? I am going from AZ-In, about 1700 miles and there will be some mountains but not too much.
thanks for the replys. So far the cheapest I have found is a u-haul brand on ebay shipped. I have a local u-haul center for this so I might just see if they are interested in price-matching, times are tough after all...
How about the wiring, what end should be on it to plug in? I installed audio/security for a decade so I am confident in cutting and splicing wires properly and so far the only thing I can find is a $60 T-harness. I would rather save a few bucks on the harness and splice it myself....
