I bought this 77 less than a month ago and have been working on issues ever since. Hardly any of the lights worked so I started there. Ended up exchanging the entire wire harness from aa 75 truck I found and still couldn't get teh left front directional to blink. Checked everything, even untaped and checked every wire from the lights to the dash. Finally last night I found it. Someone had cut the pigtail w/ 8 wires that goes thru the steering coloum and just taped the wires together. I don't even know how they did it as there isn't enough play to get in that far. Soldered in a section of wire and problem solved. I've replaced the heater core, restored the interior, new floor matt and dash pad, found and detailed an original aircleaner, new front rotors and pads, added new mirrors, and last night I finished blasting and painting the white steel wheels. All this and about 100 other small items. Should be back on the road this week. I'll post photo's as I can.

As soon as I get the wheels mounted and the truck on the road, I'll get some pics posted. Forgot to mention that I added a sliding rear window too. I almost hate to admit it, but that one light not blinking was starting to drive me nuts. Only a few things left now. Paint is faded, but otherwise should be nice to drive. Only bought it because I had an almost identicle 73 ford in high school. Same 302, 3-speed, orange truck. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
