With 33's and chromoly shafts, good u-joints, and 4.10's, you should be fine so long as your not making 1000hp rock crawling. In stock form with good joints a 44 should be able to hold up to 35's in the rocks. I have broken the 44 in my jeep on 35's, but it's all been u-joint failure. Make sure you have good joints.
No offense, but nut up and by a Dana 60. I am guessing this axle is going in one of the diesel F350s in your sig. Don't waste money building a Dana 44 when you could put that towards getting a Dana 60. but that's just my 2 cents.
