We aren't supposed to touch our pretty wives? I'm gonna have to ugly her up a bit. I guess the same can be said for a truck, the first scratch is the worst. That is why I just throw a bunch of crap in it right away, get it over with. Not that I wan't to throw a bunch of crap at the wife...Man this isn't working too well for me. I'll shut up now.
I worked with a guy that had a 62 Vette, Great car red on red with white top.One year he put 60 miles on it and was total pissed at himself for putting on so many miles. Then I asked him if he was saving it for his wifes next husband. That really set him off.We all want something different from this hoby,Me I want to drive and enjoy my work.To each his owen.

I agree to each his own but to me driving and enjoying is where it is at. I know a guy similiar to the one you mention put a lotta time, CASH, and effort into a project and then scared or dont care to drive it. Crazy to me. Have bed will haul
I don't haul much in mine anymore but i sure do like to take a nice sunday drive with the wife or go to a cruise. I sure aren't going to obsess about it to the point i won't drive it. If i get to that point i will sell it.
Wish I had the picture of the time I hauled two 7' palm trees I had got from Costco. Just to watch the peoples face when I was loading into my 56 was great. Cant take it with you, drive it all you can. They did bend a bit in the wind, lol
well im building my 59 for everday driver type of thing and it will have a flatbed for work just like any self respecting truck should. then there is the 64 that i drug out of a buddys horse corral that is all dented up, thats what i take to pull my friends out of mud holes and such lol.
