Help Please

Hey All...I have 12 2006 ford e350's ambulances with 6.0 diesels in them and i am wanting to slow them down to just run 75 mph top speed,Can this be done? And maybe some pointers on how...Thanks you all, These forums have been great

you can have the Innovative diesel write you a custom tune, that will top out at 75MPH. and you would have to reflash each truck.
other than that maybe dealer can activate govenor on it?
but when you get the tunes you have to remve them each time the truck will go for service

I asked the dealer if they can do that and they said no

They can be governed with the factory tune, You need to talk to fleet services at ford.

The dealer may not know about "custom" programing for fleet units.

Ok will have to check up on that, Our local ford dealer is small and really doudt they know anyways

well i have been dealing with local ford shop for 2 days now and they said they have made several calls to ford and say they can't help with setting the max speed to 78 mph, They said i would have to get a aftermarket proggrammer to do this...And i definetly do not want to go that route, I have enough problems out of the 6.0 diesels
