OBS fuel mileage

Hey guys, I have a 2000 extended cab 4x4 right now and i get roughly 15 around town. I'm thinking of selling and getting an obs truck b/c i like the looks and price. So what i'm wondering is what kinda fuel mileage you guys get in your trucks? Is it about the same or better or what? THanks.

Welcome to the 'other side' lol.
Mileage is about the same as your 2000.
My 96 Crew, 4:10's, 4x4, 8ft box (almost 9000 lbs) gets about 15 around town...18-19 MPG on the hiway empty.
I've seen 21-22 running about 55-60MPH....no fun
BTW: It's almost bone stock, just an Intake & exhaust

Mixed driving I'm getting about 17.5 mpg, and that's not driving it very nice. Highway I can get 22, in town around 15 or so.

Or you could just trade me... haha! Don't get me wrong I love these OBS trucks, but I like the Superduties also. And really want 4x4.

I am about the same as the others,250, 4x4 crew cab short box, my normal driving route little bit city mixed with rural roads 16-18 mpg, interstate 18-20. I have seen low 20's but that was on 50-55 mph roads also.

18.5-19 regularly around town. Highest on highway was a shade under 22.

yall would get better mpgs if you used the electric side of the motor instead of only the fuel side. Charge the battery with the plug under the front end so it runs off the electric motor for a while...it really saves fuel

I get about the same as the other guys on here. About 15 in town, 20 if I do 63 mph, about 18 if I do 70 MPH. Has 4.10 gears, 5 speed, 4x4, extended cab. If I cant get 250 miles off of one of my tanks I have a lead foot or am pulling somethign.
