CEL light at cold start

CEL light at cold start
About a week ago, my 2000 Excursion 7.3 started turning on the CEL light at startup. The codes returned are:
P1000
P672
P674
It only does this at cold start and it doesn't seem to care if I've waited for the "Wait to Start" light to go off or not.
Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

The 672 and 674 might explain why youe cel light comes on on cold starts, might take off the valve cover and check connections then re-test. Never seen the p1000, so do what is say's, drive it more!

You have the emission friendly GPCM (glow plug control module) It's designed to trip the CEL if a glow plug burns out. I'd ohm the connector at the valve cover to check the glow plugs before pulling the valve cover to help rule out a wiring or GPCM issue.
